Our Story
Bannister Press was born out of a need to publish strong, unique voices and incredible new ideas. As a publisher, we strive to be our authors’ greatest champion and loudest cheerleader.
We publish unputdownable books by award-winning authors. We specialize in supernatural and fantasy stories loved by adults and young adults. Our non-fiction tells the untold stories of small town Ontario.
Our Authors
A. Gural
A. Gural is a screenwriter, and member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada. Aside from Forgotten, her short stories have been published in various anthologies, including Matters of Time and magazines (Luna Station Quarterly, issue #50). She is also a professional acting coach for film and television.
Lori Jean Rowsell
Lori Jean Rowsell is a multi-genre author, and the script adaptation of her debut young adult novel, No Other Love, has been optioned for film.
Paulette Sopoci
Paulette Sopoci is the restorer of the Victorian-era Primrose Hill Manor, and has been recognized for her dedication to honoring and maintaining historic properties, including capturing her home in book form in Primrose Hill Manor: the history of the Janetville mansion.
